Architecture
Architecture is in all aspects of the world - from your body’s architecture, to your life’s architecture, to computer architecture.
All three of those aspects of architecture were involved in the last few days - some in good ways, some in bad, and some in quite painful ways.
Computer Architecture:
Not the most dazzling of modules in my course - I mean who wants to program a computer in assembly language? The final exam in it was on Thursday - and it wasn’t too nice either. Needing to pass the exam to pass the module (I really only needed 15% from it, but apparently if you fail the exam, you fail the module), I was like “shit, this won’t be nice”. Thank god my knowledge in (well most of) number systems and logic gates (from my JUNIOR Cert) came in handy. I hope I got around 50% in it - unfortunately, I have to do it again next semester…..
Body Architecture:
Your body’s architecture determines how it is laid out and how it functions. So when something fecks up in there, it’s not good. Recently, I’ve been getting weird pains in the section of my body between the bottom of my ribcage and my pelvis. It’s odd - it hurts whenever I:
- Run
- Cough or sneeze while standing
- Lift something heavy
Makes me think if my body is crushing itself….
Life Architecture:
Everyone life has an architecture - as in, you do the same thing every day. Most of you, get up, go to work, work, come home, go to bed - 5 days out of 7, 40-50 weeks of the year. Same with me, currently my life’s architecture is: Get up at 11, go to work and not work (not working means I’m actually not working, just on the computers), come home at 9 in the evening, go to bed. Works quite effectively, except it kills your eyes.
