<div>’s from Hell

OMFG, who’d have thought trying to turn part of a website from table-based layout to a div-based layout would take 3 fucking hours and be sooooooo frigging annoying to create!

Whilst working on the H3L test site I figured it would be a good idea to make the header using div’s instead of a table (mainly as I’m supposed to have the website for Web Design laid out using div’s and not a table) . Bad fucking idea. Given my bad track record with div’, it took AGES to do - and after about 50 different coding ideas I finally got it working (see below)

Oh, and if all goes according to plan, I’ll be having the guy selling me my new 360 walking up to me here in the lab within the next hour or two and selling it to me right here

It may have taken a lot of work, but at least now it’s a header that will look good for all (I do believe that IE fucks up the login/members section of the header.
All I can say is fuck you, you IE user you - I’m not gonna go out of my way to make it looking right for you!

Well, at least I have one table-to-div conversion out of the way. Unfortunately now I need to change my Web Design site from being a table layout to a div layout.
Which may be extremely difficult given the footer is fixed to the bottom of the window (if the page is shorter than the window height) - I just hope that there will be a way to get it working….

Ah well, back to the waiting and the coding…..
