Yay! Master of Ceremonies! At 11.50 this morning, the “Achievement Unlocked” pinged up to signify it had finally been unlocked! After an hour and a half of spamming my friends and players lists, yelling at friends to get in my party, and yelling at TDM (who was in the party) to yell at the others to spam their lists, I finally got it…..
It’s amazing your emotions as you see the number of people in your party slowly go from 12 up to 15, and then you’re in a real panic waiting for someone to join before anyone leaves so you can get it. And the relief when you do start it as soon as you see number 16 join and hear the ping.
Of course, it seems some people were only staying to help me get the achievement cos two people left after 30 seconds…
Anyway a quick list of some of those who helped me out:
- l Sack Attack l
- Squiffy69
- Vizi Gen X
- SmokeyGoblin
- xTrojanWarriorx
- lankyliam
And of course not forgetting That Dudes Mom!
Yea, this post is a little hurried, but I finally found someone who uploaded the three Pokémon Diamond and Pearl episodes that showed in US last week!
Right now, I’m trying to download and convert them into a format that I can play in Media Player (and possibly upload here……), but until then, here are the links to them:
Episode 1, Part 1
Episode 1, Part 2
Episode 2, Part 1
Episode 2, Part 2
Episode 3
» Glitchy
This is one sure-fire glitched achievement – Rainbow 6 Vegas’s “Vegas Champion”.
Yesterday I finished doing the story mode co-operatively over Xbox Live with random people. Yet no achievement. Then I remember I forgot to do Construction Yard. I go do it – no achievement. Now I’m in the process of going through the Story Mode again, and probably not going to get the achievement.
It’s glitches like this that really piss me off. Especially as I am an achievement whore and don’t want to spend more time than is necessary getting this one, especially when that time could be better spent trying to get my rank all the way up to Elite.
Well at least I’m getting a steady flow of 100 points to up my rank by doing this – of course I’d get a hell of a lot more if I was playing some nice ranked Attack and Defend with friends who always set up the matches (yes, I play with the same people, on the same team, same map etc.) – *sighs* Well, time to go back to the Calypso Casino in the co-op story and continue where I left off in my SECOND time going through it……
A lot of things in my life are completed, and a lot of other stuff is not completed.
For example, the completed stuff includes:
- Post-Primary School
- Halo2Leagues.com
And the not completed stuff:
- 4 years of College
- Life
Of course, I could not be arsed to go on about EVERYTHING in my life that is/isn’t completed. Primarily when it concerns completed 360 games.
Today, saw the game completion record go up from 1 to 3! Now some of you out there may be saying “Meh, that’s nothing”, and some others may say “But they’re only Arcade games”. What I say is – Fuck you. Go show off how you whore your Gamerscore to someone else.
And while you’re at it, whore your ma.
Anyway, before today the only game I managed to complete was UNO (it’s piss easy – 2/3 hours work and you’re up 200GS), but now I’ve been able to add Cloning Clyde (after figuring out how the fuck to become a Mutant-Clyde) and MiniGolf (well technically I only have 180, but when I do get all 200 I won’t be near a comp to post this post, so I’m adding it in now).
Now to work on the better stuff such as R6V (doubt it), Frogger (maybe), and Bejeweled 2 (not a fucking chance).

You guys should know by now how much I hate it when the US gets stuff before Europe.
And these two just happen to be part of that range of stuff! It pisses me off so much that we have to wait longer just because of where we live…..
Ah well – there’s always the option to import one! Just as I’ll probably do with the 120GB 360 HDD if it doesn’t come out here at the same time as in the US….
Anyway, I’ve been wandering around the net looking at D/P related stuff and I came across something very interesting – apparently Wikipedia don’t consider Serebii a reliable source! WTF?! Serebii is one of the most, if not THE most, reliable source for Pokémon out there!
Those n00by Admins are probably just jealous that Serebii knows so much stuff that they’re in denial! Yea, that sounds like the most likely reason. Fucking assholes……
More gaming-related posts. Why not given it’s all I’ve been doing practically this last week?
So yea, last night there was more Arcading with more new Arcade games (Cloning Clyde and Bejeweled). 1 thing you gotta love about each – Bejeweled, they’re very difficult; and Clyde the scores aren’t in 5 multiples. But it does allow for interesting scenarios like this where you can have your score so close to the threshold, and yet just not there.
1 single point below. Many thanks Cloning Clyde’s 14-Gamerscore “Ancestorial Antics”!
And in PC Gaming news, you might have noticed it in my sig – or my mini status to the right, but I’ve finally installed The Sims 2 on my portable! So now to see how many hours of my life I’ll waste away playing it…..
To continue the recent topic of achievements, Gamerscore and general gaming – I figured I’d go on about the amount of Xbox Live Arcade games I play.
Well, it’s a shitload. In fact, according to MGC – 11 of the 28 Xbox 360 games I’ve played have been from the Arcade.
Yea, and they seem to be taking over my playtime, given their cheap cost, ease of Gamerscore (well most of them), and quick to play. Let’s take a more detailed look at my Arcade games, shall we? Read the rest of this post…
Since I sincerely doubt ANYONE other than me reads my 360voice, I guess I’ll go on about it here.
Yesterday was incredibly lucrative on the achievement whoring side with a massive increase of 260 ![]()
Consider the fact that I own f-all games and that figure looks even more impressive.
Of course it always helps when you have others who are also whoring achievements, and thus you can help each other to get them. There’s nothing wrong with it in our eyes
Ah, well – at least now R6V has a much higher completion percentage thanks to the addition of the Co-op T-Hunt, and all the ranked matches achievements. We could have added the Co-op Story mode, but we didn’t have that much time and it it extremely long……
At least when we do finish it I’ll have some idea of how to go about getting past the section on Nevada Dam where you have to open the floodgates. I can get down to the control station and start to hack it, but no matter how many terrorists that come round I kill, it always says “Mission Failed – You failed to open the floodgates in time”. Seriously, WTF?
Of course it’s probably just gonna take a lot of tries, just like hacking the terrorist hub in the previous mission – which got destroyed almost every time.
Ah well, back to finishing off Co-op Story Mode. And possibly getting some in Pac-Man and Geometry Wars (both only 400 points AND only 15MB, so they fit on my Memory Unit easily
)
Yea, at first this game look like fun – but only once you delve deeper into it do you realise that it is annoying as shit. Well in single-player that is.
Ugh, last night, the amount of time I spent trying to get that god-damn easter egg on Level 35… – You’re supposed to bounce off the ground in such a way, with such a speed and blasting at such a time as to hit it perfectly. Well, 60 attempts and an hour or two later – still no egg. What a load of bullshit.
It’s also the cause of all my inability to keep track of time these past couple of days. After getting through a hell of a lot of the game yesterday, I only just noticed that it was 8pm. 2 hours after I was supposed to close up the shop and I stopped getting paid – and there were still customers here! Two minutes later everyone was out and the place was shut.
Of course that’s nothing like this morning where I went to bed at 4am (after a lot of Xbox Live Marble Blast and some R6V), with my radio alarm (6am, and stays on for 2 hours) and my phone alarm (7.15am) both set. Next thing, it’s 11.10am…..
Fuck.
Ah well, back to the playing Marble Blast online until I get the Veteran Battler achievement, and also maybe getting all the levels complete (not necessarily under par time, I just want to get them out of the way!)

*yawns* In case you can’t tell, I’m back from Interlan. T’was a long near-24 hours of gaming heaven. It could have done with more people, but you can’t have everything run smoothly, especially for a college event.
For those of you wondering WTF is/was Interlan – it is/was an intervarsity BYOPC (Bring Your Own PC)/Console gaming event. Scheduled to last 28 hours (although died after 22), it featured a wide range of tournaments and competitions from CS 1.6 and Unreal Tournament to Halo 2 and Gears. Read the rest of this post…
