Seriously, someone broke the internet……
- Xfire is down, and can’t even be found!
- H2J is down
- The Clan’s CSS server is having connection issues
- WLM is randomly disconnecting
among other fuck-ups…..
However, if there is someone out there who IS capable of breaking the internet – do me a favour and hack digg and get the person who registered as me deleted. That way it will save me the time of suing them, and them the time fighting a losing court case and the money that I’d win ![]()
Never mess with trademarks/registered trademarks
Oh well, better get back to the CSS rapage, and the forum browsing…..
Now last night was one of those “once in a lifetime” moments. No, not because Milan beat Liverpool, although that was indirectly involved.
Yesterday, I managed to meet up with James, who is more commonly known as Indutiomarus from halo2.junk.ws, and his friend Cal. Both of them, along with another friend, are on a vacation doing a small tour of Europe, and Dublin was one of their stops.
We actually had a meeting like this planned 3 months ago, when I was first told that James would be over here, and as it got closer to his vacation, we started to decide upon the details more. So last night, the three of us met up at the Spire (you know, that huge big spikey thingy in the middle of O’Connell Street), and decided to go find a pub to get some food and watch the match.
I would go into excruciating detail about the 3 and a half hours that followed, but I don’t think that we’d want some of the stuff to be mentioned, and I don’t remember it all!
What I can remember is that I think the lads have found a good alternative to their American cider, Cal prefers Milan to Liverpool, and that you can be in a city-center bar really late at night provided you go in before the bouncers are deployed!
(Picture will be up once James gets back from vacation)
You ever noticed how money is like a one-way drain? You earn it, yet no matter how much you try it has to be spent (go down the drain). And yet, you can never have it so the money comes from the drain to you.
Of course, that’s fantasy…..
Reality is that being able to last on 1 week’s worth of pay, for 4 weeks, is impossible. Especially when you’ve tried, and failed, and you now owe your stepdad, Microsoft, CCP and probably someone else, money.
HOWEVER! There are methods out there, of earning money without needing to have a job. What are they, I hear you ask? Well, to be honest, I don’t know. But the one way I have is:
Trademark Law.
Yup, as soon as my application for trademark is accepted and registered, anyone who abuses it will fall victim to me ![]()
So those out there who like to play pranks on people by registering as them on a website and then claiming to be them to other people, are very liable.
Have fun giving me your money!
61 hours without being on the Internet…..
That’s 45 more hours than what I can handle without withdrawal symptoms.
Of course, when you’re on the ‘Net as much as me, you need all the time you can get on it!
But of course, being offline for a while means that a few unwanted things happen:
- You get e-mails which really need to be responded to ASAP
- You get attacked in your online games just because of a technicality
- Your websites drop in activity because you yourself aren’t there to keep the activity going
- And other stuff…..
Yea, me – ‘Net != a happy ChrisD…..
Ah well, back to browsing the ‘Net and preparing for a job interview later on today (which is what the whole “e-mail that really need to be responded to ASAP” means – especially when it’s an interview for a job at the Xbox Live Gaming Centre!)
Yep, it’s exam time. Ugh. And it doesn’t help when 2 months ago I though they were on Monday to Thursday; then I come in Monday and realise it’s Tuesday to Friday….
So yes, later today I have the god-damn fucking stupid Architecture – the most boring subject in the course. I just hope that the knowledge I have from the first month or so of the course is enough to pass the exam (lectures get boring, you know).
And yes, Beta fever is all around, but I can wait – especially when those who are playing it are as crap as this guy:
Ah well, back to my “studying”. Of course, it’s really just me studying the members of H3L to see which 2 will win the Beta codes. Oh yea, I probably should mention, I won another Beta code from some website I was a big part of last year. But, since I got Crackdown, I don’t need codes.
Kinda self-explanatory, Halo3Leagues.com is now live!
So, maybe it’s about time you headed on over to http://www.halo3leagues.com, and signed up?
Plus, since I just realised earlier today that I got a Halo 3 Beta code from Bungie as part of their “Friends and Family” scheme, I’m gonna use it as a launch celebration prize!
Don’t worry though, I’ve got Crackdown, so I can still play with you guys – once I get a 360 Hard Drive that is……
» Woah
Yea, it’s been 9 days since I’ve been on the net at all. But since it’s a long story, it’ll take a while to go through it all.
In short:
- Job lost
- Big massive arguments with family
- 360 packed up
- Bravenet being annoying
- MS getting impatient
- CBTS ditching me
And others…… Read the rest of this post…
