College priorities - and why they don’t exist.
You’d think that if they were enabling online registration for the next year, they’d have given you back your results so you can know if you’re through to the next year or not.
Well, they haven’t.
Today, I log into my DCU portal, expecting to see results of the August repeat exams there, telling me if I passed the modules, and thus got through to second year. But they don’t.
On further inspection, I find that they won’t be giving out the results until September 11th, even though online registration is starting on Thursday, and the college year starts September 24th! Not really giving us much time to play with, are you?
Especially as they say in the guidelines for online registration “Students who have failed modules will not be able to register”. Right, but how are you going to stop those who have taken repeats and failed those from registering? Are you going to go by the first exams? And if you are, then aren’t you cutting 2 weeks off the registration time for students who HAVE passed 2nd time round?
They really need to get their priorities right, that stupid Registry…….
SURPRISED AT - The fact that when I went to check my bank balance I had a lot more than I expected. Wonder where it came from…..
PLAYING - Nothing at the moment, but that will all soon change, cos I’m not sitting at home for the next 4 weeks without a games console or computer to play on!
