Today’s 5 hour block of lectures had a very unplanned introduction. Hence why I’m able to write this now and not at 2pm.
First lecture of the day was planned out to be 2 hours of Logic taking place in “the Pit” – called such as it looks like a lion’s pit. Unfortunately, it got off on the wrong foot when the lecturer came in and found out that there wasn’t the capability to hook up his laptop to a projector to project the slides for use in class á lá Charlie Daly.
So, long stint short – he gave up after half an hour of describing logic and what the course will entail, and said that he’d try and get a different lecture room for the next lecture next week.
Oh joy (!)
And in gaming news, I did NOT go out and buy Halo 3 at launch. Instead I texted my Mom mentioning that they are selling it for €20 off the RRP in Tim’s local Tesco. Hope she gets my drift. Oh and last night, about 12.55am, I completed R6V on Realistic difficulty – now all I have to do is get the 360 hooked up to the net, and get to Elite ranking and the game is completed!
Well, it’s been a long while since I’ve been able to really do much on the ‘Net at all really. But from the looks of things, that will change since college is back on, and thus labs are open again
The other main reason for me spurring into action is the fact that crappy Bravenet will cease to be my web host – mainly cos they’re too expensive. So far, all has gone kind of well with the transfer of sites over to my new host. At least my blog made it over – H3L might come if I decide it’s worthwhile to run. If not, I’ll kill it off and help out CBTS with their site problems, and possibly run leagues/tourneys etc. on their site. That is, if Craig decides to go with IPB – otherwise, I can’t help mod.
Anyway, to cut a long story short – although cutting short is probably not a good idea at present – college is back, I’m back, I’m living on campus this year, and before you ask – no, Baby Bear did not come along.
Poopy.
