It’s one of those kinds of days today - today it’s going on a year since I launched this particular blog (alright, it’s been 11 months…), and today sees the 100th non-deleted, no-privatized post.

I started blogging back on MSN Spaces (now Windows Live Spaces). Back then I was using all the Windows Live services, and thinking they were the best thing to use for your Internet needs. From looking back at my old space, it appears I created it on the 19th of December 2005. Making it nearly two years since I started blogging in some form

Life on the MSN Space was OK, but soon the lack of complete customizability was bothering me. At first it was alright as I was never that mad into web design, but soon it dug into me. Fixed layouts FTL. Back then, I also had a school-mate who was blogging the sae way, so sometimes we would comment on each other’s blogs. Looking back over the posts, a good bit of history can be found out:

• I discovered MGC on New Year’s Eve, 2005. *
• I spent 4 months writing posts from the point of view of a Sangheili. *
• I realised that Windows Live Spaces don’t update your age manually… *
• Live Spaces vs Bebo - Live Spaces won *
• Halo2Leagues.com begun around the start of September 2006
• 3 posts in 5 days - something that really only happens here. *
• And the last post on December 23rd 2006. *

It was then when I decided on making my own blog on my own site. I’m not sure how long it lasted on thechrisd.halo2leagues.com before I bought this domain and started Wordpress blogging here.

Well, I think we all kinda know the history of me on this blog, especially when you can easily read it for yourself.

• I first made two blog posts in one day on March 8th, 2007 *
  (Oooh, noticed theme flaw there, better go fix…)
• I got my 360 on March 26th, 2007. *
• Started finding Pokémon Diamond and Pearl episodes online on April 27th, 2007. *
• Spending 61 hours without any ‘Net access is never a good thing, for me anyway… *
• My first (bad) attempt at a custom theme started on June 29th, 2007. *
• And, well everything else is kinda more recent than that, and probably feels like it was only written yesterday!

So, here’s to another year of blogging, and hopefully more than 100 more posts!
