And now, back to gaming
It’s been a hectic couple of last weeks to the semester, what with assignments due and lab exams to pass. Thankfully, the lab exams are passed, and most assignments are in (Data Structures due Friday
)
With the pressures of college out of the way, there’s more time to fit in some gaming. Since gaming over the Christmas break might end up being limited to single-player PC gaming, I need to get in a good bit of 360 gaming first. The main reason for this is that SOMEONE doesn’t seem to want a 360 console residing in their house…
Of course, the main way around that is to stay on-campus over the break. But then there is the main issue of the University “closing down” over Christmas. So the very latest I need to be out of here by is this Friday. But then there’s also the room inspections and spraying taking place Wednesday. So I’m out of here by Wednesday morning (and with any luck, with a nice ride home with most of my crap
)
To pass the time, other than doing the Data Structures assignment and cleaning and preparing my room for Wednesday - there, thankfully, is the 360. At first it looked to be quite monotonous with only Rainbow 6, Crackdown single player, and very small Arcade games. But then, whilst going around town last Wednesday, I managed to pick up this baby that Baby Bear is holding. Yep, that is a 120GB 360 hard drive

So now, I can spend my time not only playing the above, but also all the Arcade games I’ve ever bought, game demos, and Crackdown Co-Op!
Yes, I would prefer to be here over Christmas, but not going home is kinda mean on Aoife since I wouldn’t be around. That and also it looks like there’s a good few things happening over the holiday period. Fran, Conor, Fiona and the others (well, I think they’re all coming over…) will be over for a bit between Xmas and New Years. Trip to the Blanch Centre with Avril in tow FTW. Everything on me FTL. Good time FTMFW!
Anyway, I really need to start cleaning up this place…
Or, maybe it can wait until tomorrow.
