The Irish gaming community today has experienced a huge loss following the death of Derek Sherlock aka YounGGuns 78. RIP.
When I first signed up with Dreamhost, after being told about them by Adam and how you could get $110.10 off the cost of a hosting package, I didn’t see any issues popping up. 2 months later, and I now know they are really NightmareHost…
Guitar Hero 2 – it’s a staple of any Games Soc event, whether it be console gaming, LAN event, or general setup for some global college thing. And now it’s a “staple” of my game collection.
Halfway through the exam period – well, really 5/6ths of the way through. 5 exams down, and only 1 to go. Anyway, I’m back home in Dunboyne for the gap period between Monday’s Data Structures, and Friday’s Assembly Language. It’s a nice little 3-day stay which helps fulfil the need to not completely forget about the family
I’m not sure whether this is just because I’m busy with exams, but I’ve noticed that I’ve been blogging a lot less. However, it may also be down to the fact I’ve started Twittering as well.
Dreamhost have mistakenly charged thousands of customers for web hosting, sometimes for 3 years worth, that doesn’t even need renewing. I’m not affected, but is it worth risking it possibly happening to me in the future?
The holiday in which we celebrate all things gaming is here in just a few more weeks. I really should hold off my gaming until then, and start studying for my exams, though…
Things always change. Things change daily, others change very seldom. In my case, most stuff changes daily. Especially when it involves computers, the Internet and gaming.
