Winter-een-mas is almost here

If the title has you completely stumped, then obviously you don’t read the Ctrl+Alt+Del comic. It’s a week-long celebration of games that takes place the last week of January. So from the 25th to the 31st of January, you need to be in front of your PC, 360, Wii, DS, whatever playing it. Non-stop.
* PS3 does not count. Seriously. If you have one, go sell it and buy the best 360 package you can with the money *

I for one, am looking forward to this year’s celebrations. Mainly because it occurs during the period between the end of my 6 exams, and the start of next semester. Pity I seem to be doing a lot more gaming than studying, though. It’s not helped by some kick-ass Halo 3 matchmaking stats, or a NASCAR 08 disc that is being nice and loading up after much less attempts and staying running for hours on end.

It seems that the H3J spider has caught up with my Halo 3 games. You can see the statistics page here. For those of you either not registered, or too god-damn lazy to view them there, I’ll be putting up a stats signature somewhere on the site soon. Probably on the About page. Either that, or I might make a page dedicated to gaming. I’m not sure yet.

I’ve probably already mentioned it in several places, but I’m gonna say it again. My NASCAR 08 disc, decided to be nice tonight - it loaded up on average in only about 4 attempts rather than what seemed like 20, and at one point ran for about 3-4 hours without complaining about being unreadable
Needless to say, it’s helped me advance quite a bit in the game. It was working for so long, I was able to complete the entire ‘07 schedule season (at 3% distance), qualifying and everything, and win the cup with over 7000 points, 21 poles and 27 wins. And 75GS along with it

I really need to stop staying up all night gaming and surfing… It’s wrecking havoc with my body clock. Plus I really need to study! Oh well, I was probably gonna end up cramming anyway…

Chris,you & I are almost in the same situation:You can’t stop gaming when you’re supposed to be studying for your finals….I won’t be able to stop gaming and study for my finals when I get my 360 back in a few hours.^_^
