This is a little rant I posted over the Halo.Bungie.Org forums today, after reading on the MGC forums that two of my friends whom I played with in Halo 3 mid-week to try and gain achievements recieved EXP bans for those actions. I don’t know if I’m banned myself, but I can only presume so.

I’m finally capable of playing Pokémon Platinum! Woo! Yes, it will be a struggle actually understanding the Japanese, but if Marriland (American who makes Pokémon videos on YouTube) can do it, then so can I! So, obsessed as I am with it, I’m going to be writing play-through posts while I play through the game. Consider this Part 1.

Apparently I’ve been tagged by Lottie to reveal my own shameful crushes… If you were expecting a longer intro, you’ll be disappointed.

You may remember that I have bitched before about a few annoyances about Firefox and integrating with other programs on my computer. Well, the annoyances are no more, but I’m wondering whether it was the best course of action or not…

It’s yet another one of those slow posting times. But rather than letting the site dry up, letting the feed remain barren and empty, and letting everyone go without something to read, I’ll throw some crap together.

Human stupidity shows are all the rage, what with Jackass being a collection of American idiots being idiots. Or all those home video shows showing those memories you’d rather forget in a hurry. Now the French are jumping on the bandwagon!

I once experimented with recording me playing Pokémon on my DS. Unfortunately, the video turned out to be completely blurry and useless. It was then I read and understood what the macro function on my camera actually does. And now the end result is a video of me playing, that you can actually make out!

I come back after being off for the weekend, to another huge backlog of feed items, a moderate amount of e-mail, a huge amount of new YouTube videos, countless forum posts – and a meme. Oh well, it’s not like I could stay away from them for ever…

Yea, I’m still really far behind right now. Feed backlog is nowhere near getting cleared, I still have to go meet up with the programme chair to discuss repeating modules, and plenty of other crap and stuff… So, this is going to be fairly bland…

I just read on Blacknight’s status blog, that there will be scheduled downtime Friday night, starting around 10pm. So expect me to be down for a couple of hours. That means don’t go @replying me or DM’ing me on Twitter asking WTF is up!
