It’s been a long time in the making, but after careful deliberations, a few cosmetic changes here and there, a slight change in hair colour (at least to me anyway) and other bits and bobs here and there, the new me is finally ready to be unveiled to the public! Huzzah!

Yea, OK, it’s probably not what you were expecting to see
So, I fianlly got around to downloading the New Xbox Experience – you know that update for your 360 that completely changes the whole thing. Personally it makes absolutely no difference to me how it looks. All I care is that it still plays games and whores Gamerscore.
Well, there actually have been a couple of changes which I approve of. First and foremost is the rip to hard drive function. That coupled with my 120GB hard drive (which had 93 free before I started!) means I can, and did, rip my entire game collection to it and never have to deal with a noisy disc tray again! The decreased loading times is another benefit, but it’s not the main reason I did it.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, I don’t give a rat’s ass about what Bungie warned – I installed Halo 3 to my hard drive and will play it from my hard drive. If everyone else has to experience slightly longer loading times whenever they play online Halo 3 with me so that I can play in peace and actually hear the game and not the disc spinning, then tough shit. That game probably single-handedly caused my disc drive to become so noisy…
