Seeing not-so-old faces again
It’s about time I wrote something about this. Thursday night there’s yet another meetup of bloggers, web heads, twittererererersersers (whatever the term is) and other geeks, of which I am one. Which group I fall under? Probably all of them
To the boring details!
6pm – Porter House Central. Eat, drink, chat, drink, drink, failed attempts at flirtation, drink. Circa 9pm – Soundcheck, South William Street. Act as rent a crowd for Rick O’Shea.
And that’s pretty much the details of it. But more to the point, it’s the people that are going to be there that is the most important bit.
People to see again, after first meeting at the Hop House
People to see for the first time, but know on Twitter
Laura Czajkowski, John Williams, Anthony
People to see for the first time, and I have no idea who they are
Alan O’Rourke, Dave Davis, Justin Mason, Niall Kitson, forbairt, prendio2, Dan O’Neill, Neil Ward, starfire
I couldn’t be bothered linking the third list… Read the full details, as well as finding all links on Jason Roe’s site, especially since he’s the one who arranged it
UPDATE (15:54): Apparently Neil Ward’s no longer able to go, because of his other half

And me?
You going? I didn’t see your name or a link in Jason’s post…
Sure, it’s me – I show up for everything. Is that an envelope I hear opening……..?
How fun! I wish there was a group like that around here. Sounds like an absolute blast!
Yea, they are good times Hawty. I’m sure that there are similar minded people around in your area, although I think the fact that Ireland is a lot smaller than the US makes it a lot easier to find others around here.
