Things really are nice when you know that there are plans of action, and if things go well, can be executed successfully. God I sound like a businessman… Anyway, things are definitely looking up from Thursday night, so my mind is not on the verge of melting inside of me and turning me into a vegetable!
Firstly, I do have to say that there has been an awful lot of help from everyone with regards to my situation, which is something that I cannot thank enough. Darragh and Niamh, Elly and George, and even Will have done so much to help out, guiding me along the way, offering somewhere to stay, keeping me in a suitable state of mind and not anywhere near flipping out, and generally just being there given the situation. Also, all the moral support from everyone else on Twitter, and in the comments has been great. Thanks to all of you
So, I do have a plan of action pencilled in for hopefully the next few months, possibly longer. I’m going to go have a look at a couple of places on Sunday and Monday, and hopefully get into one of them (the Sunday one preferable!) for a decent amount of time. I’m also looking at the possibility of staying in a place down in Cork for the summer during the off-term. PS. Anyone with any work down in Cork over the summer, I’m looking for some work to earn a bit!
Also, there are a few other events I’m looking forward to over the next while. There’s Jason’s BTW meetup on Thursday, the Games Soc LAN next weekend, and the photowalk the Saturday after. Plenty of things to keep me fresh and busy, and opportunities to have some more time to meet with the rest of you! Always good to have more time to get to know people better
Anyways, I’m in a much better shape than Thursday night, thanks for all the concern and help from you guys. It’s a hard road to go down, but I’ll be able to get through it!
