So I went down to the mass of limpless bodies that was the Street earlier the morning to try and figure out from the Registry what on earth my situation regarding being a student was. In short, I was basically told that despite that fact I had filled out my R34 form (to repeat), got permission from the programme chair and paid and submitted my fee liability, they never processed by registration because they must have "lost my R34". So apparently I need to re-register to repeat again, which means meeting up with the programme chair again tomorrow.
Apparently I’m back in college next week (or at least I should be). That means, god-forbid, summer is official over. *insert Baby Bear epic sad face here*
I only have a week of freedom left, so I guess I better make the most of it. Kinda.
So, from time to time on forums I visit, gaming forums in particular, we get asked what our favourite games are, and then in more detail, favourite storylines, favourite levels, and other related crap.
But, since I can never keep tabs on which are my favourite of "x", I’ve decided it’s time for me to sit down and give each weapon I claim to love an honest review, and then grade them based on the scores I give it. As such, here are my Top 20 Video Game Weapons. According to me, anyway.
The following is a test of epicness. If you can successfully pass this test, then you are perfectly qualified to refer to yourself as “Epic” on the Internet, or at the very least around me. Try it out and see how well you do! Make everyone else you know try it! Seriously!
You may or may not have noticed that I’ve been a little quiet on the whole text-based writing front lately. It doesn’t mean that I’ve been completely reclusive and cooped up in a corner in the living room the whole time. I’ve just been really engrossed with playing, recording, and LP’ing Pokémon SoulSilver.
Today, and yesterday, and the day before, and more than likely the day tomorrow – I spent the day patiently waiting for the release of the Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver ROMs. I had been expecting an early release, before the street date of the 12th of September, since previous releases were five (Japanese Platinum) and three (American Platinum) days early respectively. Now with the news that 2channers have the game early and are already posting screens, videos and details – is making my fucking blood boil.
So, the Late Late came back last night. And I only just caught up with it on the RTÉ Player today. And yes, I know that it’s 6am on Sunday now, but this is coming through to the end of my internal clock’s cycle, so it seems like it was yesterday and today. Anyway, I caught up with the show, and there is one thing I must admit – I actually liked it…
