What skills do you need to put a costume together?

Sewing? Would you be willing to take on an evening course for that? True, the beginners level is simply &quot;hem a hankie&quot; up to &quot;make a simple cushion cover&quot;, but a cushion cover is one step away from a floppy hat, and in theory a tabard is a very large hankie with a hemmed hole in the middle.

So what other skills mixed with a bit of creative thinking do you need?

And as for hitting you with stick, we both know people who can do it virtually (using automated remote systems if required) and a few physically?</description>
