So, on Monday while hanging around college, after contemplating it over the weekend, I finally decided to move my e-mail hosting from Windows Live Admin Center to Google Apps. And I must say it was the best fucking decision I ever made.
Hmmm, this is perplexing. Apparently Blacknight set up a thing where you can win one of their branded mugs, and Crispy told me to write a post about that for some reason.
Only real issue is that I have no idea what to talk about. So, I suppose maybe I could go on about some of the odd mugs that Crispy has dotted around his room somewhere, that he never uses.
Just go there, and watch how everyone willingly shows how they are a fucking moron by making a mockery of our national holiday by thinking it’s all about drinking, and by spelling it wrong.
Eejits, the lot of them.
And while you’re at it, tag everything you write today with that hashtag. Hopefully then that’ll help to get the word across.
It feels like a random image day, with images I’ve seen on the net today.
Don’t judge me, just… do whatever.
Well this post was originally going to be able me deciding whether or not to go to the Blog Awards this year, but now that that’s set in stone, maybe it’s more about the plans I have for the awards.
Right, this is just something that popped into my head while on the way home – and it’s probably more for those of you currently in DCU.
I kid, I kid… Yet another one of those spontaneous decisions to re-design my site a bit – I’m almost as indecisive as miralize… – removing the massive black sides when on large monitors, but keeping the original width and the like. Getting the background stretching out while keeping the content constrained in the middle was a massive pain though…
Anyway, other than that I’ve also changed the links page to use my Google Reader subscriptions rather than trying to manually update it myself. If you’re not there, then that means I’m not reading you, but if I should be and I have in the past, then I probably just forgot when I was re-adding all my subscriptions when I got my new desktop. Kindly give me a nudge to remind me to re-subscribe, and you’ll appear there
I also want to ditch the huge Gallery installation and replace it with something that’s more integrated with WordPress’ functions and the like, and uses WordPress’ commenting system so that people can comment on individual pictures on their own separate pages. If you know of any plugins that do this sort of things, let me know!
Right, something I want to mouth off about here. It involves Irish Rail and the procedure with which people in possession of Free Travel Passes are meant to follow to use the train.
So, last Thursday morning (the one with the random snow) I was heading in towards college, hitching a life with my mom who at the time was going… well, somewhere. Half expecting to get off somewhere in Blanch and get a bus to town, firstly I realised the time, and then the fact that she was going via Carpenterstown. So I then decided to give the train a shot, since it would get me into Drumcondra much quicker than a bus into town and then back out would have.
