» Aachoo!
There’s not really much to say these days because I’m mostly sat at home bunged up in my room from massive bouts of hayfever. The past few years weren’t bad for me at all, I barely even had a sniffle, but this year is just horrible for it. After speaking with a few friends also suffering from it, it seems to be down to the massive amounts of rain from the past few months, and then the distinct lack of it recently now that the pollen counts are up high.
It’s also a case of the fact that very little seems to help alleviate the effects. Daily doses of Zirtek don’t seem to do much, but without it my nose’d be snivelling and running like a tap, and I’d be practically unable to open my eyes. The accompanying unrelated really annoying chesty cough isn’t helping procedures either.
Anyway, Friday and Saturday. That’s all I’m looking forward to. I just want to get to those two days already – and preferably not be suffering from this crap! If that means it pisses down like a monsoon, then so be it!
Is not something I usually celebrate or bother with at all, primarily because of the fact my biological father left me and my mother when I was only 3 or 4 years old.
Despite the fact that my sister’s father kind of fills the father role (despite not having to), I still wouldn’t consider him my proper father.
That’s really all I have to say about that. Now, back to making the bear popular.
Maybe I should set up one of those gaming blogs along the lines of Donncha, especially if this ends up becoming a regular occurrence…
So, after buying Modern Warfare 2 yesterday evening in GAME in Blanch for €35 (not the €25 I definitely remember it being a little while ago – but at least it’s not €60 on Steam), I sat down last night for a long session of it. And by long, I mean really, really, really, really, really long. Like, started at midnight last night, ended… about twenty minutes ago, long.
Stumbled across this somewhere. 40 video game scenes rendered completely out of Lego. It would have been nothing all too fancy to post here, except for the fact that they specifically said they wouldn’t post the game titles to make it more fun.
As such, cue the impromptu ”here’s my guess” post!
There is one very accurate comic out there which goes on about how what your e-mail address is, tells people about the type of computer user and the computer skills you have.
Found on The Oatmeal.
