Seriously, mush. I’ll pop up some pictures and things, and some of them might even show up there before Crispy even gets up off his ass and puts them up on the stuff pages!

Only real issue is that I have no idea what to talk about. So, I suppose maybe I could go on about some of the odd mugs that Crispy has dotted around his room somewhere, that he never uses.

So, this first one is his Sylvester shaped mug. Not sure when he got it, but I know it was from some store in Liffey Valley, and was definitely at least 6 or 7 years ago, because at this stage I was still Aoife’s bear.

Next up is this odd little mug that is apparently from Crispy’s christening. Thus making it at least 19 years old, almost twice my age! On the back it says: “Bunnykins celebrate your christening”. I have know idea who Bunnykins is, and I definitely don’t think it’s Baby Bunny.

And finally there’s his mug from Gaelcon 2008. Himself and Seán from college went and bought a pair of mugs, of which only 72 were made, and each one is numbered. Since they went so early they got some of the best choices of witty numbering systems. Crispy settled for number 3, while Seán got number 42 – and I think you can figure out what is written on the bottom!

While Wrong does have flashes of intelligence every now and then, deep down inside of his fluffy, singed head, he still seems to have the usual ignorant attitude and failing to understand the difference between real life and the Internet.

Also, that’s Puss – my sister’s teddy cat. I sometimes borrow him.

He’s just like me too. Just as anal, controlling, dictatorial and scheming as myself! But he’s brown… Hmmm, I guess he could be our racially stereotyped cousin or something?

Chris’ note: I think he’s a little excited at the prospect of finding more bears. Also, I’m now password locking down my Windows Live Writer, so he can’t get at it.

Although, after this I really am worried that the anime has been lying to me… Excuse me if this one is a little worse than the others (well, with the exception of the other balls one). But I needed something to involve the bear and the ball together.

*shudders* Oooh, dirty thoughts there

I’d show the consequences of Wrong Babe’s words, but I’m not sure that my web host would particularly approve of it – and I’m not about to risk having to change hosts for the fifth time in 3 years.

I’m expecting to come back home one of these days to find it smashed to bits on the floor in front of him with a hammer, or similar device, in his hands.

I guess I predicted that one…

Unfortunately, the bear doesn’t seem to like the fact that there are more models around “vieing for my attention”. I think he’s just madly jealous. He wants me all to himself…
I can remember the day vividly, because it was a Wednesday evening in STOCS and I was glued to my computer waiting for 8pm to roll around and they would then go on sale on Splitreason. Apparently my frantic clicking paid off since out of the 500 of each that were made, I have Ethan number 6 and Zeke number 7!

And before you ask – no I am not selling them on.

He never likes the wash, but at least it gives him some time to be philosophical about things.

Also, sorry for the lack of bears this week, I’ve been… pre-occupied. However there are quite a few new comic ideas in my head for the next week or so!

And yes, that is my actual Xbox, and yes that is an actual red ring. About fucking time that Core piece of shit broke down so I can get it upgraded.

Also, getting the bear in poses like those is quite hard with Blue-Tac. You can just see it holding his right arm up in panel 3. Maybe glue dots or double-sided sticky tape…?

I’m not particularly pleased at how this one turned out. It was originally supposed to be “Some people think they can outsmart me” in the first panel; “Maybe, maybe.” in panel two, and then finishing with “Oh wait, they can outsmart me…”. But I thought it wouldn’t make much sense to those who hadn’t seen Meet the Heavy, so I changed things up a bit to make it easier to understand.

Seriously, did you not see those side-by-side shots of Right Babe (the most used) and Cream Babe? Holy crap, that shows a lot. That’s what 9 years of near-constant has done to that bear. Most of those were my sister’s fault, being a baby and all, but the rest were him being thrown around, used for various purposes (a slipper was probably the worst), and now just generally used as ammunition in the Clubs and Socs offices.
