I come back after being off for the weekend, to another huge backlog of feed items, a moderate amount of e-mail, a huge amount of new YouTube videos, countless forum posts – and a meme. Oh well, it’s not like I could stay away from them for ever…
Everyone knows those “Would you rather?” questions where you have two very distinct and very opposite choices and you have to pick just the one. Most of the answers are simple and no-brainers, but some can be very tough to choose. Here’s my answers to the best 7 blogging-related WYR’s.
500 is now officially the most annoying, most useless, and more stressful number of them all. Why? Because when you get a 500 HTTP status code, it screws up everything… Which is made even worse when you try to take a weekend off, and that’s when it pops up…
Phew, the past few days have been very hectic and quite stressful… Moving hosting provider has never been a nice scenario for me, especially given how many times I’ve had to do it before, but at least now I’ve moved for the very ****ing last time! Since it was such an experience, it needs a full post
Back at around this time last year, blogging for me was a completely different matter. There was a lot less thought put into posts, topics were often more random and sometimes even more controversial, and the audience was a lot different as well! It had it’s ups and downs, but there has been one particular downside that is still affecting me a bit to this day.
Although I didn’t do much yesterday (there is more planned for this weekend though, so Donncha you’ll get those embarrassing photos
), I’d just like to take this opportunity to say thank-you to all those who wished me a happy birthday yesterday (or today in some cases).
When I first started my site/blog/things, I knew it was really going to be a niche market, that would probably only been seen by gaming friends. A site was was like a plankton in the big sea of general blogs. However, a year and a half has passed, and I feel that I’ve grown to be a small carp in the small pond that is the Irish blogosphere.
